I had to use card tock from my stash. I think I paid too much for what I received.

Response from Deb: The class kit you receive is exactly what I use to do the video--so I have what you have. You should be able to complete all of the cards without adding extra supplies and you should have had enough stickers to put a sentiment everywhere that I did in the samples.



As for the cost. These are not pre-manufactured kits. Each one in put together by hand to match the card designs I create. These kits are like a sampler--I send you what you need to complete the cards as shown. In almost all cases, it would cost you more to buy a roll of ribbon, a full sheet of stickers, a pack of cards and envelopes, etc. I charge you what the pieces would cost at retail divided by the unit included in the kit (for example Under the Tree uses sim of our 300gsm (best quality) card blanks divided by the number of pieces in the pack and the price of the pack) The ribbon is charged per yard. Then I take the amount of time for example it takes for Brit to put the kit together divided by the number of kits she completes. I do not charge you at all of my time in designing, classes or even the work I do when I help Brittany in completing the kits.



These kits may not be the best choice for everyone. You may be a person that chooses to buy full size packs as opposed to this sampler concept. You may very well have many of the included supplies available on hand. If so, our kits may not seem like a good value. That is why I supply a supplies list in the newsletter for each video so you can buy just what you need.



When I compare what we are providing here to other card classes from events like Stamping Up workshops of Craft Warehouse activities, where classes are $4-5 per card, I think they are a great value.
