Small Curved Spikes Punch

Make your own Spirelli Disks with this handy decorative punch! Punch the disk from heavy paper and tape a thread to the back side. Bring the thread between two spaces on the disk count a number of spaces forward and take the thread between two spaces to the back. Bring the thread to the front of the disk advancing one space. Count the same number of spaces and cross over to the back again. Continue this pattern around the disk until you return to your start position. Tape off end to the back to complete the pattern.

Skip fewer spaces for larger opening in the center of your disk. Skip more spaces for a smaller opening in the center. Try using decorative threads & 3-D images to create some beautiful effects!

Try combining & layering large medium & small disks.
