Paws For Thought -- Part 1 Video

Posted by Debbie on

The Paws for Thought Luxury Card Collection by Hunkydory, with its traditional artwork, will be the dream cardmaking kit for many, many crafters! The homely patterns and cosy look of the images place this launch perfectly for the upcoming autumn season, and the cat theme is sure to be very popular. This Luxury Card Collection includes a stunning array of elegant felines, gracefully keeping a watchful eye on their homely surroundings, in that luxurious manner that only cats can pull off! There is also a selection of cute kittens being playfully mischievous, and then snoozing peacefully - again in a way so typical of cats! Throughout the beautiful imagery within this Luxury Card Collection, it is inevitable that you will be reminded of a cat you know and love, or a cat that has held a special place in your heart, for sure! The sumptuous rich gold foiling within this collection is the perfect compliment to the homely artwork. The Decoupage Book Cards in particular have exquisite gold foiling, to turn these projects into keepsakes to really treasure! Another lovely aspect within this kit is the presence of traditional teddies. These gorgeous furry friends, together with their shiny satin bows bring a tasteful and elegant feel, and again, are evocative of a cosy, welcoming home. This Luxury Card Collection includes 8 Topper Sets, which each comprise of a rich gold foiled die-cut A4 sheet, a printed and gold foiled A4 cardstock sheet and a printed A4 cardstock sheet. Also included is an 8-piece Notelet set, and 4 keepsake Decoupage Book Cards. The topper sets allow crafters to get as creative as they wish, whilst the projects make special keepsakes to treasure.

Following is our complete supplies list. Remember, you don't have to get everything on the list. We give you a complete list so that you can find the products of interest to you, but most supplies are optional and many can be substituted with supplies you have on hand.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Video:

Thanks for all the great feedback about the Twist & Pop video. These cards are fun to make, and I love changing the color of the cards using the gilding polish! (LINK)

I have to tell you a funny thing that happened when we were making the Twist and Pop video.

Before getting started, I asked my oldest daughter to get my glasses from the other room. When I put them on, I noticed that this were a bit fuzzy so I cleaned the lenses. Things were still a bit fuzzy, but it was early and I'm not a morning person. Just before making the video, I cleaned the lenses again. Things continued to be a but fuzzy through the day and I remember thinking I might need to make an eye appointment.

That evening, my daughter asked me to take off my glasses and she handed me another pair. I put them on and the world was clear again! I made the sample cards and the video wearing Jordan's glasses and she was wearing mine! I would like to say that is why I had trouble with the red liner, but we all know better than that! LOL
